Who We Are
Helping Hands of Paulding County, Georgia was founded in 1987 by five local churches (First Baptist Church of Dallas, Dallas First UMC, New Canaan Baptist, New Hope Baptist, and Poplar Springs Baptist) forming a partnership to battle the effects of poverty and hunger… from these humble beginnings we have grown into a multi-faceted agency assisting our neighbors with their basic needs. Helping Hands is a vital coalition of churches, businesses, civic groups, and caring individuals representing community partnership at its very best.

But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
